Dear Shelby Families:
I know the school district has been throwing quite a bit of information at you in the past week; please know that it is our hope and goal to always keep you well informed. To that end, thank you for taking the time to keep yourself updated with the district’s instructional plan by reading and following updates on our social media platforms.
As you may have already learned, Richland County still falls within the RED designation which means it will be business as usual tomorrow for the Shelby City Schools and we will be open for face-to-face instruction as we have been since school began on August 24th.
As I have mentioned previously, we want to keep our schools open and we are working diligently to make that happen by having our staff and students follow proper safety precautions. Any assistance you can provide to that end will have long term benefits for our students. Thank you in advance for that help; we appreciate your continued support and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at (419) 342-3520.
Sincerely,
Tim Tarvin
Superintendent, Shelby City Schools
